Milk Tank Chassis Build

This project was hard work but we're proud to say we got there! We built a new chassis for a B-train milk tank trailer and fitted the original tank onto it.

We had received DXF files from a transport engineer that we had profile plates cut from so we jigged the chassis up and welded it once it was set true. Once the chassis was cooled and had relaxed we set to fitting the tank onto it.
Part way through the built the design was changed so it went from a two axle to a three axle trailer which meant we had to arrange another axle and an electronic breaking system to comply with the current laws. During this build we also fitted a new light bar, guards, marker lights, a king pin and had everything certified at the end of the build without a glitch.
